1st Grade Homeroom Teacher

Ms. Paulette Braithwaite is the first grade homeroom teacher at the Linden SDA School. She hails from Guyana, and has been an early childhood educator for the past forty years. Her numerous areas of discipline include a BS from the University of Guyana. She is cerfitied as a Remedial Reading Educator and Guidance Counselor, she also holds a first grade certified teacher’s certificate, which she earned from the Cyril Potter College of Education in Guyana. She served as a Lecturer at the college and completed the following courses at Griggs University: Healthier Living, Philosophy of Christ and Education, and Principles of Christian Faith. She is the former kindergarten teacher at the Linden SDA Day Care Center. Mrs. Braithwaite has a passion for Christian Education, especially Early Childhood Education. She strongly believes that teaching is a talent given to her by God. Her goal is to ensure effective teaching and learning for each child who she encounters.
