Our Curriculum
The Linden Seventh-day Adventist School/Northeastern Adventist Academy – Queens Campus (NAAQC) follows the curriculum guides outlined by the North American Division and the Atlantic Union Education Department in conjunction with the New York State Education Department. Our school is Accredited by Adventist Accreditation Association (AAA), Middle State Accreditation (MSA), and National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA).
At Linden Seventh-day Adventist School/NAAQC we use Standard-Based Learning Policy. This is an educational approach that focuses on clearly defined learning standards or objectives, where students are assessed based on their mastery of these standards rather than their performance compared to peers. The principles used with the policy are Clarity, Mastery, Differentiation, and Feedback. Proficiency Scales are used to guide both the educator and students in understanding the criteria for mastery of each standard.
